It all began in 1970 with the introduction of the Berg 172 and Berg 272 rucsacs. These were followed two years later in 1973/74 with the rucsac that would change the outdoor world – the Cyclops . With its internal frame – arguably the first rucsac to have one – plus extra padding, the Cyclops was a hugely popular rucsac. And it’s still going strong today with the Cyclops III, part of the Extrem range of rucsacs.
